Dorcas W. Mwangi is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner and has been taking care of patients with mental health struggles since 2007. She earned her masters' degree in Nursing and post-graduate training in mental health at Georgia State University in Atlanta. She has experience in diagnosing and treating the whole range of mental health issues and takes care of children, adults, and their families.  

 

She has training and experience in providing both psychotherapy and medication management for patients, and is known to be a kind, warm and experienced clinician.  She is also an adjourned faculty member at the Emory University School of Nursing, and has taught masters' degree nursing students there.

 

She is accepting new patients and is able to administer injectable medications as well.

 

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her young family.
