Dr. Jamie Lee, DNP, PMHCNS

Dr. Jamie Lee is a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist who provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management and counseling for children, adolescents and adults at Georgia Psychiatry and Sleep. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the Medical College of GA and her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from GA State University. Dr. Lee has had extensive training in Psychopharmacology across the life span, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Sand-tray Therapy. She has been providing psychiatric care for individuals ages 4-65 in outpatient and inpatient settings since 2000. She is an experienced nurse educator, having taught Psychiatric Nursing in the WellStar School of Nursing at KSU from 2000-2013 and she currently serves as a preceptor for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner students from multiple universities. In addition to her work with Dr. Shroff, she is a Disaster Mental Health Volunteer with the American Red Cross, and a volunteer mental health provider at camps for children in foster care through KidS3 Ministry (https://kids3.org/). She is also on the Board of MAAPPNG (Metro Atlanta Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurses Group).  She loves to travel with her husband and spend as much time as possible playing with her grandchildren.
